Cola Wars Are Coming To Town: How Pepsi Stole Santa

Santa’s on vacation. And like the rest of us, the rules we live by don’t always apply to vacation time.

Pepsi’s first new ad push in three years focuses on what’s great about summer…and its flagship brand. The new campaign will focus on Pepsi, which is now the #3 soft drink in the U.S. behind Coke and Diet Coke.

Pepsi is reportedly spending 30% more on TV in 2011, and has signed a major sponsorship deal with a reality show. The brand also continues to be a leader in social network marketing.
