There are 80 million young adults born between 1976 and 2001. Before long this age group will dominate the workplace.
Here’s what you need to know to recruit them, to reward them, and to keep them.
Compared to older generations, Millennials (also known as “Gen Y”):
-Don’t live to work. They work to support what they really like to do.
-They are very tech-savvy.
-They appreciate social networks—even at work.
-They are entrepreneurial. At heart, they really want to run their own business.
-They’re naturally collaborative.
-They’re BIG multitaskers.
